This reminds of when I met a therapy dog with 3 legs and her and her owner were in my hospital room for 90 minutes when she was in the hospital room with her owner I didn't need pain medication at all but when her and her owner left the hospital room I needed some pain medication again and also I was on a pain meditation pump therapy dogs make you forget what you're going through at the hospital for a little bit at least

I am a caregiver to a 16 year old girl with Rett Syndrome. I have been with her for 8 years now. I love her so much.

My Dad died age 37 from this congenital heart condition. He was born in 1962, he had experimental surgeries done by age 18 and was one of the first ten in the world to go on to have the Ross procedure done. I was devastated when he died. When I see how simple it is now, I cry, knowing my dad was part of making that happen for others, bittersweet. He was so brave never knowing what would happen in those surgeries.

I have to get a CT scan July 25th I’m 12 years old and I’ve never had one before. I’m still scared not of the scan but of having to get a IV I’ve never had one before (besides when I was in surgery as a baby) I hate needles I hate even getting shots but a IV stays in longer and the IV is the only part I’m scared about.
